We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with family in San Francisco. It was a gloriously clear day. The view from the City to Marin County was crystal clear, it couldn’t have been a nicer day.
Pete and I had a great introduction to the wines the Languedoc region of France during the Wine Bloggers Conference in August. This made us curious about the region, its climate and food as well. We decided to build a wine and food tasting from this experience.
Dave brought a 2005 Burrell School Valedictorian, a wine from the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Does the glassware you drink your wine from really matter? Is a jelly jar or a shot glass just fine for tasting and drinking wine? These were the burning questions that we, and another 50 plus wine tasters, gathered at Sterling Vineyards to answer this past Saturday.
