Thursday night wine tastings at Fine Wines
Let me admit that I’m not a big fan of domestic Merlot. While there are some good ones, even a few excellent ones, I find most American Merlot is generic red wine.
Just by coincidence after we wrote our post on rosé wines our local wine shop, Fine Wines of Stockton, had a rosé tasting for the Thursday night tasting.
Thursday nghts tasting notes again. This week we tasted red Bordeaux from the years 2006, 2007 and 2008. This tasting hopeully will help us see how these wines may be developing in our cellars.
This weeks tasting was domestic Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio, if you prefer the Italian spelling.
