Just in time for Thanksgiving Day here is a list of wines to accompany what might be your biggest meal of the year. It can be a challenge to choose one wine to pair with the variety of food on most Thanksgiving tables: light and dark meat from the turkey, dressing, yams, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy. Jello salad anyone?
The good folks at Snooth know how challenging it can be to choose that one wine for the big day, so they reached out to a group of wine writers for suggestions. I was among that group of writers whose assignment it was to choose one wine to pair with Thanksgiving dinner. The wine had to be $30 or under in price. My choice, the 2012 Onesta Bechthold Vineyard Cinsault, is priced at $29. Coincidently, it was chosen by one other wine writer.
You will find quite a range of wines in the article below. I hope you find it helpful in making your wine selections for Thanksgiving dinner.
