The 2007 Sterling Vineyards Cabernet Franc is a very nice wine. It is a dark ruby color and on the nose you get ripe dark fruit and caramel. The flavor is also dark fruit with some vegetal notes. The wine is very well balanced with significant smooth tannins and good acidity. The grapes were hand harvested from the Three Palms Vineyard and the wine was aged in 100% French Oak.
Overall it is very enjoyable drinking and should cellar gracefully for several more years. Highly recommended.
