We picked up this wine at the winery about a year ago and decided to see how it was doing now. The wine far exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful ruby/garnet color. A restrained dark fruit nose and plenty of dark complex fruit in the flavor with a little vanilla. The tannins were very smooth and the wine was light in the mouth, a very well balanced wine. To describe this wine with one word I would say it was luscious. We could have drank two bottles easily. If you are interested you can look back at our tasting notes on the wine when we purchased it back in October 2010.
We enjoy wine, food and travel. Pull That Cork is a chronicle of our wine adventures, the food and wine pairings we create and our travels which are increasingly organized around wine.
