2009 Alma Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir – A blend of four Dijon clones, the wine is a dark ruby red. The nose has cherry and berry and some earthiness. The flavor has spicy berries with the earthiness from the nose. This doesn’t taste like a typical Pinot Noir but is very nice with light tannins, good acid and a medium finish. It paired well with grilled pork chops.
We enjoy wine, food and travel. Pull That Cork is a chronicle of our wine adventures, the food and wine pairings we create and our travels which are increasingly organized around wine.
