2008 Bethel Heights Rogue Valley Gewürztraminer – Medium yellow color with a hint of botrytis on the nose. Nice acidity with flavors of pineapple and apricot with a little minerality. Pleasant long finish with maybe just a little residual sugar. Very nice wine to drink by itself or with some light appetizers. Might also go well with some Thai food.
Back in April we tasted this wine at the Bethel Heights winery. While our description was different then, we still liked the wine very much. This is on recommended list!
