The 2006 Grghich Hills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley has a medium ruby color. Nice ripe dark fruit in the nose along with some smoke and earthiness. Plenty of acid and smooth integrated tannins. Flavors follow the nose with dark fruit, cherries, earthiness. Also, I pick up a little leather. The finish is fairly long with fruit, leather and tannins.
We enjoy wine, food and travel. Pull That Cork is a chronicle of our wine adventures, the food and wine pairings we create and our travels which are increasingly organized around wine.
